From the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country in Lancaster County PA. Perhaps only second to the Amish Buggy, the Amish headwear is the immediately distinctive symbol of Amish life, culture, and history.

We have collected hats from within our Lancaster county Pennsylvania families that have been passed down from family generations, and now offer them to you not as headwear, but as a part of our culture. These hats and bonnets have all been used and come in assorted various sizes (adult or child, please note we cannot provide you with specific requested sizes.) The bonnets are handmade according to tradition within each individual family as the girls become of age and learn to make their own clothing. They continue making their own bonnets throughout their lives as part of their family culture.

The Amish bonnet, a simple yet profound symbol of the Amish community’s identity, carries centuries of tradition, culture, and values. This head wear is not just a fashion statement but a representation of faith, modesty, and a way of life that’s unique from the rest

A portion of the proceeds received from the hat sales goes directly to the Amish Charity fund that supports our Amish Communities response to local disaster areas throughout the United States - rebuilding homes lost in disaster areas due to floods, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
